The Stonex S950 is a high-performance GNSS receiver built for demanding surveying and geospatial applications. Equipped with a 1,408-channel multi-constellation tracking engine, it supports GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS, and IRNSS for robust positioning even in challenging environments.

Laser Distance Meter & Dual-Camera Functionality

The integrated green laser distance meter on the S950 offers unmatched flexibility in the field by allowing you to capture offset points with precision—without physically occupying the point. With a range of up to 30 meters, you can measure inaccessible or unsafe locations, such as building edges, roadways, or obstructed features, directly from a single GNSS position. This functionality seamlessly combines laser distance data with GNSS measurements, instantly providing georeferenced points for faster and safer workflows.

In addition, the S950’s dual-camera system enhances field efficiency with AR (Augmented Reality) stakeout capabilities. By using the forward-facing and downward-facing cameras simultaneously, surveyors can visualize point locations in real-time on the live camera feed, making stakeout tasks more intuitive and reducing human error. This dual perspective allows for faster, more accurate alignment of targets and simplifies complex site layouts, particularly in urban or obstructed environments.
