The Topcon DL-502 is a high-accuracy digital level designed for surveyors and contractors who need dependable performance, clear optics, and efficient workflow in daily leveling tasks. With 32x magnification and ±0.6 mm/km accuracy, the DL-502 delivers fast height and distance readings in just 2.5 seconds. It’s built with Topcon’s trusted Wave-and-Read technology, which lets users wave the RAB-coded staff back and forth while the instrument automatically locks onto the lowest vertical point, eliminating the need to keep the staff perfectly plumb.
One-button operation allows users to focus, press, and store measurements instantly, reducing human error and eye fatigue. The DL-502 also supports inverse staff readings, making it easy to measure overhead clearances like ceilings, tunnel crowns, or bridge structures. Its onboard programs for elevation, height difference, cut/fill, and ceiling height make calculations in the field fast and efficient. With a 2,000-point internal memory, IPX4-rated housing, and a shock-resistant magnetic compensator, the DL-502 is ready for use in a wide range of field conditions.
