The Schonstedt MPC REX Kit is a dual-purpose locating system that combines two industry-trusted tools into one compact, field-ready package: the Schonstedt REX pipe & cable locator and the GA-92XTd magnetic locator. Housed together in a single rugged case, this kit gives professionals the power to locate both underground utilities and ferrous metal objects without carrying multiple systems.
The REX utility locator includes a multi-frequency receiver (512 Hz, 33 kHz, 82 kHz), passive power detection (50/60 Hz), and Sonde mode (512 Hz) for tracing non-metallic lines. Its telescoping design extends from 17.5" to 27.7", with directional arrows and depth readout up to 19 feet. The GA-92XTd magnetic locator detects buried iron and steel objects like valve boxes, manhole covers, and property pins with simple audio feedback and a trigger-grip design for one-handed operation.
Together, the MPC REX Kit gives you the full capability to safely detect everything from active electric lines to hidden iron targets—ideal for municipalities, survey crews, and utility contractors needing an all-in-one solution.
