Overview

The SECO 6341-00 Tilting Triple Prism Assembly is a high-visibility prism system designed for longer-range total station measurements, control surveys, monitoring, construction layout, and other applications requiring a strong reflective target.

The assembly holds from one to three compatible screw-in prisms and includes three sealed 62 mm copper-coated prisms installed in black canisters. Its tilting aluminum yoke allows the prism array to be aimed toward the instrument, while an integrated peep sight assists with accurate pointing over longer distances.

The holder provides selectable 0 mm and -30 mm prism offsets and is constructed from orange polycarbonate with metal inserts for durability and improved jobsite visibility.

Three-Prism Configuration

The SECO 6341-00 is supplied as a complete three-prism assembly.

Using three prisms creates a larger reflective target than a single-prism configuration, making the assembly particularly useful for longer-distance measurements and applications where dependable instrument tracking is important.

The holder can also be configured with fewer prisms when the complete three-prism array is not required.

Once the proper angle has been established, the assembly should be securely tightened to prevent movement during observations.

Integrated Peep Sight

A peep sight is built into the prism holder to assist with pointing the assembly toward the total station.

This is especially helpful during longer-distance measurements, where accurately orienting the prism faces can be more difficult from the target location.

The peep sight gives the rod person or target operator a direct visual reference for aligning the assembly with the instrument.
