Overview

The SECO 5200-065 Claw Cradle is a durable Quick-Release controller cradle designed specifically for the Trimble TSC3 data collector.

Manufactured from anodized aluminum, the cradle provides a secure mounting platform for the TSC3 during surveying, construction layout, and field data collection. It plugs directly into compatible SECO Quick-Release Pole Clamps, allowing the controller to be installed or removed without disassembling the complete pole-mounting system.

When paired with a compatible SECO Claw Pole Clamp, the mounting system helps keep the controller securely positioned while limiting excessive clamping pressure that could damage the survey pole.

Designed for the Trimble TSC3

The SECO 5200-065 is shaped specifically to support the Trimble TSC3 data collector.

Its dedicated design provides a more secure fit than a universal tablet or controller holder, keeping the TSC3 accessible while it is mounted to a survey pole or rover rod.

Compatibility is limited to the Trimble TSC3 unless otherwise confirmed by the equipment manufacturer.

Quick-Release Mounting

The cradle plugs directly into compatible SECO Quick-Release Pole Clamps.

This connection allows the TSC3 to be attached or removed quickly without loosening the pole clamp. The operator can detach the controller for handheld use, transportation, charging, or storage while leaving the clamp installed on the pole.

SECO Claw Mounting System

The cradle can be paired with a compatible SECO Claw Quick-Release Pole Clamp to create a complete controller-mounting system.

SECO’s Claw system is designed to hold equipment securely while helping prevent excessive tightening that could crush or crack the pole. The pole-protection feature is built into the compatible Claw Pole Clamp, which is sold separately.

Anodized Aluminum Construction

The SECO 5200-065 is manufactured from durable anodized aluminum for dependable use in demanding field environments.

The anodized finish provides corrosion resistance while keeping the cradle lightweight enough for everyday rover and pole-mounted applications.

Optional Adapter for 1-Inch Poles

Compatible SECO Claw Pole Clamps are generally designed around a 1.25-inch outside-diameter pole.

When using a 1-inch pole, the optional SECO D11145 Delrin Adapter can be installed to increase the effective pole diameter from 1 inch to 1.25 inches.

The Delrin Adapter is used with the pole clamp and is not installed directly on the TSC3 cradle.
