SECO 5200-073 Claw Quick-Release Cradle for Archer 2

The SECO 5200-073 Claw Cradle is designed specifically for the Juniper Systems Archer 2 handheld data collector. It provides a durable, secure mounting solution for attaching the controller to a compatible SECO Quick-Release Pole Clamp.

Constructed from anodized aluminum, the cradle is built for regular use in demanding surveying, construction, GIS, and utility field environments. Its Quick-Release connection allows the cradle and controller to be attached or removed from the pole clamp without disassembling the complete mounting system.

Designed for the Archer 2

The SECO 5200-073 is specifically designed to hold the Juniper Systems Archer 2 data collector.

Its controller-specific shape provides a secure fit while keeping the Archer 2 accessible for viewing maps, entering measurements, collecting GIS data, and operating compatible survey equipment.

The cradle should only be used with the controller model for which it was designed.

SECO Claw Mounting System

The cradle is part of SECO’s Claw controller-mounting system.

The Claw system is designed to keep valuable field hardware securely mounted on the pole while helping prevent excessive clamping pressure from crushing or damaging the pole.

When combined with the appropriate Quick-Release Pole Clamp, the system provides a stable mounting position for the Archer 2 during active fieldwork.

Quick-Release Connection

The SECO 5200-073 plugs directly into compatible SECO Quick-Release Pole Clamps.

This allows the controller and cradle to be removed from the pole without loosening or removing the pole clamp itself. The Quick-Release system is useful when transferring the controller between field use, charging, transportation, and secure storage.

A compatible Quick-Release Pole Clamp is required and sold separately.

Anodized Aluminum Construction

The cradle is manufactured from durable anodized aluminum for dependable field performance.

Anodizing helps protect the aluminum surface from corrosion, abrasion, and repeated handling while keeping the cradle relatively lightweight for pole-mounted use.

Optional Delrin Pole Adapter

SECO offers an optional Delrin adapter for crews using a 1-inch outside-diameter pole with a clamp designed for a 1.25-inch pole.
