Overview

A top-mounted 130-minute vial assists with vertical positioning, while the replaceable plumb-bob point provides precise placement over survey marks. The SECO 6405-01 is available in Flo Orange and Flo Yellow for improved visibility in the field.

25 mm Copper-Coated Prism

The SECO 6405-01 includes a compact 25 mm copper-coated prism designed for reliable total station measurements.

Its smaller size makes the assembly well suited for stakeout, close-range layout, structural work, utility positioning, and locations where a full-size prism assembly would be unnecessarily large.

0 mm and -30 mm Prism Offsets

The prism assembly supports the following specified offsets:

• 0 mm
• -30 mm

The correct prism offset must be selected in the total station or field software before collecting measurements.

Prism-constant conventions may vary between instrument manufacturers. Always verify the correct setting for the specific total station and prism configuration being used.

Tilting Coaxial Target

The prism is mounted with a tilting coaxial target that allows the assembly to be aimed toward the total station.

Keeping the target and prism aligned on the same axis provides a clear aiming reference while allowing the prism angle to be adjusted for different instrument positions and vertical angles.

Aluminum Double-Yoke Construction

The prism and target are supported by an aluminum double-yoke assembly.

A 130-minute vial is positioned on top of the prism assembly.

The SECO 6405-01 includes a replaceable plumb-bob point for precise positioning over field marks.
