The Schonstedt u-LOCATE Transmitter is a compact, weather-resistant signal transmitter designed to work with the u-LOCATE and u-LOCATE+ utility locating systems. Built for active tracing of underground utilities, this 1-watt transmitter delivers a clear 82 kHz output to energize conductive targets such as pipes, cables, and tracer wires.
The transmitter offers multiple connection methods: direct connection using the included leads, built-in induction, or use with an optional clamp for non-contact signal application. It features rugged, IP54-rated construction, a large mode switch for quick field setup, and a long battery life powered by four D-cell batteries.
