The Sokkia iM-50 Total Station is a reliable and easy-to-use instrument designed for construction layout, surveying, and general site measurement. The instrument can measure reflectorless distances up to 500 m (1640 ft) and up to 4,000 m (13,123 ft) with a standard prism. This measurement capability makes it ideal for a wide range of tasks, including construction layout, topographic surveys, and general site verification.

Bluetooth Connectivity (Laser Plummet Models Only)

Certain versions of the Sokkia iM-50 include built-in Bluetooth connectivity for wireless communication with external data collectors and field software.

Bluetooth capability is only available on laser plummet models. Optical plummet versions of the iM-50 do not include Bluetooth functionality.

This wireless connection allows crews to control the total station and collect data using a compatible field controller without needing a physical cable connection.

Software Compatibility

The Sokkia iM-50 Total Station integrates with many of the most widely used surveying and construction field software platforms. Using standard Topcon and Sokkia communication protocols, the instrument can connect to external data collectors through serial cable or Bluetooth on laser plummet models.

This allows survey crews to operate the instrument using the software they already use for construction layout, topographic data collection, and survey workflows.
