SECO 8365 ANSI/ISEA Class 3 Safety Utility Vest

Overview

The SECO 8365 Safety Utility Vest is a professional high-visibility field vest designed to meet ANSI/ISEA Class 3 requirements for surveying, construction, transportation, utility, and roadside work.

Developed in conjunction with surveyors from the California Department of Transportation, the vest combines durable polyester and polyester mesh with extensive storage for everyday field equipment. It features 4-inch-wide reflective tape with 2-inch-wide silver stripes made from 3M Scotchlite Reflective Material.

A padded collar lined with Outlast fabric improves comfort during extended wear, while YKK zippers, dual microphone clips, and multiple interior and exterior pockets support demanding daily fieldwork.

ANSI/ISEA Class 3 Visibility

The SECO 8365 is designed to meet ANSI/ISEA Class 3 requirements for high-visibility safety apparel.

Class 3 garments provide a higher level of worker visibility than Class 2 apparel and are commonly selected for demanding environments involving moving traffic, construction vehicles, heavy equipment, and limited-visibility conditions.

The appropriate safety classification should always be selected according to employer policies and jobsite requirements.

The SECO 8365 was developed in conjunction with surveyors from the California Department of Transportation.

This field-focused design incorporates the visibility, storage, comfort, and equipment-access features needed by crews who spend extended periods working near roads, infrastructure, and active construction areas.

3M Scotchlite Reflective Material

The vest features 4-inch-wide reflective tape with 2-inch-wide silver stripes made from 3M Scotchlite Reflective Material.

The broad reflective areas help improve the wearer’s visibility when illuminated by vehicle headlights, construction lighting, and other external light sources.

Durable Polyester and Mesh Construction

The SECO 8365 combines durable polyester fabric with polyester mesh.

The solid fabric supports the pockets, zippers, and other high-use areas, while the mesh sections allow additional airflow for improved comfort during warm-weather fieldwork.

Padded Outlast Collar

The padded collar includes Outlast fabric on the interior surface.

The soft, cushioned design improves comfort around the neck during long workdays, particularly when the vest is carrying radios, tools, spray cans, maps, and other field equipment.

YKK Zippers

The vest uses YKK zippers for dependable opening and closing during regular field use.

The durable zipper hardware is designed to withstand repeated operation in surveying, construction, utility, and transportation environments.
