The SECO 5200-154 Claw Pole Clamp with Compass is a durable controller-mounting clamp designed for survey poles, rover rods, and antenna poles.

SECO’s Claw Series limits the clamping action to help prevent the user from overtightening the clamp screw and accidentally crushing or cracking the pole. The clamp is manufactured from anodized aluminum for dependable daily use in surveying and construction environments.

A built-in compass provides a convenient directional reference during fieldwork. The SECO 5200-154 is compatible with existing SECO Quick-Release cradles and can also be paired with a Claw Quick-Release Cradle for mounting a compatible data collector or field controller.

Claw Over-Tightening Protection

The SECO Claw Series is designed to help prevent pole damage caused by excessive tightening of the clamp screw.

Its clamping function is limited so the operator cannot continue tightening beyond the intended range. This helps reduce the possibility of crushing, cracking, or permanently deforming compatible survey poles and rover rods.

Built-In Compass

A compass is integrated directly into the SECO 5200-154 pole clamp.

The compass provides a convenient directional reference during survey, construction layout, mapping, and data-collection work without requiring the operator to retrieve a separate handheld compass.

Quick-Release Cradle Compatibility

Compatible SECO Quick-Release cradles plug directly into the pole clamp, creating a secure mounting system for data collectors and field controllers.

The clamp can be paired with:

Pole Compatibility

The SECO 5200-154 is designed primarily for poles with a 1.25-inch, or 32 mm, outside diameter.

A compatible 1-inch, or 25.4 mm, pole may also be used. The optional SECO D11145 Delrin Adapter increases the outside diameter of a 1-inch pole to 1.25 inches for a proper clamp fit.
