Description
The SECO 5200-070 Claw Cradle provides a secure Quick-Release mounting solution for the Trimble Juno 5 and Spectra Precision T41 handheld data collectors.
Constructed from durable anodized aluminum, the cradle is designed for repeated use in surveying, construction, GIS mapping, utility locating, and general field data collection. It connects directly to a compatible SECO Quick-Release Pole Clamp, allowing the controller and cradle to be attached or removed without taking the clamp off the survey pole.
The 5200-070 is the controller cradle component only. A compatible pole clamp is required to create a complete pole-mounted Claw assembly.

Designed for the Juno 5 and T41
The SECO 5200-070 is shaped specifically for compatible Juno 5 and Spectra Precision T41 handheld data collectors.
Its controller-specific design securely supports the device while keeping the display and controls accessible for:

The cradle should only be used with the controller models for which it was designed.
SECO Claw Mounting System
The cradle is part of SECO’s modular Claw controller-mounting system.
When paired with a compatible Quick-Release Pole Clamp, the system keeps the data collector securely positioned on the survey pole. SECO’s Claw clamp design allows the pole clamp to be tightened firmly while helping prevent excessive pressure from crushing or damaging compatible poles.
The 5200-070 does not include the pole-clamping component.
Quick-Release Connection
The cradle plugs directly into a compatible SECO Quick-Release Pole Clamp.
This connection allows the controller and cradle to be removed while leaving the pole clamp installed. The Quick-Release design is useful when moving the controller between:
- Active field use
- Transportation
- Charging
- Secure storage
- Different compatible pole setups
The cradle should be fully engaged and locked into the clamp before the controller is released.
Anodized Aluminum Construction
The SECO 5200-070 is manufactured from durable anodized aluminum for long-term field use.

Optional Delrin Pole Adapter
SECO offers an optional Delrin adapter for using a compatible 1.25-inch pole clamp on a pole with a 1-inch outside diameter.
