Overview

The SECO 5198-153 Bracket with Battery Slot and Quick Release is a durable pole-mounting bracket designed for securely attaching compatible data collector and controller cradles to survey poles, antenna poles, and rover rods.

Built around SECO’s original Open Clamp Pole Bracket and Cradle system, this bracket allows the attached cradle to rotate into a comfortable viewing position with the push of a quick-release button. It also includes an integrated battery slot, providing convenient storage for a compatible spare battery during fieldwork.

Quick-Release Cradle Adjustment

The bracket’s quick-release mechanism allows the attached controller cradle to rotate without removing the entire mount from the pole. Pressing the release button lets the operator reposition the cradle to a more comfortable viewing angle for reading the screen or entering field data.

This adjustable design is useful when switching between walking, measuring, staking, and data-entry positions.

Integrated Battery Slot
