SECO 5198-052 Plain Open Clamp Pole Bracket

Overview

The SECO 5198-052 Plain Bracket is a durable open-clamp pole bracket designed for mounting compatible data collector and controller cradles to survey poles, antenna poles, and rover rods.

Based on SECO’s original Open Clamp Pole Bracket and Cradle system, the bracket provides a fast and efficient way to attach field controllers while keeping them positioned for comfortable viewing and operation.

The adjustable clamp fits standard poles and rods with outside diameters ranging from 0.75 to 1.25 inches. Its quick-release mechanism allows an attached SECO Claw Quick-Release Cradle or standard cradle to rotate without removing the bracket from the pole.

Quick-Release Cradle Adjustment

The SECO 5198-052 features a quick-release button that allows the attached controller cradle to rotate into a more comfortable operating position.

Pressing the button releases the cradle’s rotational adjustment, allowing the operator to change the screen angle without removing or loosening the entire pole bracket. This makes it easier to reposition the controller while walking, measuring, staking, or entering field data.

Adjustable Open Clamp

The open clamp is designed to fit standard survey poles and rover rods with outside diameters ranging from 0.75 to 1.25 inches.

Unlike closed-ring brackets that must be installed from the end of a pole, the open clamp attaches directly from the side. This makes the bracket easier to install, remove, and reposition around other pole-mounted accessories.

A stainless-steel clamp screw tightens the bracket securely around the pole.
