The E7300 measures distances up to 265 feet (200 feet in bright light conditions) with an accuracy of 1 millimeter or 0.04 inches (better than 1/16th of an inch). It is the world's first laser distance meter specified to measure in accordance with ISO 16331-1, an industry standard developed by an international committee responsible for laser measuring tools. This ensures that the measurement range and accuracy stated are tested and achieved using a strictly defined process.

The E7300 is also easy to use, with multiple functions that can be achieved with the touch of a button. Addition, subtraction, area, and volume calculations are all possible, and the last 10 results are stored in the memory. The illuminated 3-line display makes results clearly structured and easy to read, even in low-light conditions.
