The DISTO X4 in itself is a robust laser distance meter, in combination with the DST 360 it becomes a powerful 3D capturing station. This allows for distance measurements between any two points up to determining a roof's surface area from one location.

Outdoor Point-to-Point Solution
Inaccessible Measurements
Once the DISTO X4 is connected to the DST 360 adapter and the instruments are levelled, the height difference, horizontal distance and the inclination between two points is measured. This, for example, makes it very easy to measure the height or width of a roof.
Pointfinder Camera
The DISTO X4 is equipped with a Pointfinder camera allowing you to easily target distant objects in bright sunlight. Even if the laser dot cannot be seen, the target appears clearly on the colour display. The combination of DISTO X4, tripod and the fine adjustment handles of the DST 360 adapter enable precise targeting over long outdoor distances.
Smart Area
Floor, wall, ceiling or inclined roof areas are quickly and easily determined by measuring the corner points from one location. This, for example, means that the area of a roof can be measured safely from the ground.
Leica DISTO Plan App
The DISTO X4 P2P-Package in combination with the DISTO Plan app simplifies the creation of CAD ready façade plans and floor plans. Data is captured and can be extracted in a DXF and DWG format. Additionally, this combination can be used to determine the volume of an excavation with the 'Earthworks' functionality.
