Description
Description
The Spectra Precision LR50 is a heavy-duty, machine-mounted laser receiver built for accurate elevation control in grading, excavation, and trenching applications. Designed for use on dozers, box blades, scrapers, and excavators, the LR50 provides fast and reliable grade feedback directly to the operator via a bright 5-channel LED display.
With a 360° laser detection and a wide vertical reception window of 171 mm (6.75 inches), the LR50 ensures rapid and consistent beam acquisition from any direction. It supports manual display operation or automatic machine control, integrating seamlessly with Spectra CB-series control boxes (CB20, CB25, CB30). Operators can choose from multiple on-grade deadband settings, including ultra-fine (5 mm), standard (10 mm), and wide (20 mm), as well as offset grading modes (up to 50 mm) for excavation workflows.
The LR50 also includes blade tilt and plumb indication, providing real-time side-to-side and front-to-back angle feedback. Beam averaging, slope matching, and out-of-beam indication are built-in to reduce signal fluctuations and improve grade accuracy, even in windy or long-range conditions. Built with a cast aluminum housing and polycarbonate casing, the LR50 is IP67-rated and drop-tested from up to 3 meters (10 feet), making it ideal for rugged jobsite environments.
