Overview
LaserLine detector brackets provide a secure way to mount a compatible rotary laser receiver to a LaserLine direct-reading Lenker rod. Each bracket connects to the rod’s dedicated slide rail, allowing the detector to move smoothly along the working length of the rod while the operator checks grade, cut, fill, or true elevation.
Multiple bracket models are available because laser receivers use different mounting points, clamp shapes, and attachment systems. Select the bracket that matches your exact detector brand and model using the compatibility chart below.
These brackets are designed for use with compatible LaserLine GR-Series direct-reading grade rods, including the GR1000 and GR1450 series.

Compatible rod families include:

- LaserLine GR1450 Series
- Compatible direct-reading Lenker rods equipped with the proper rail-slide system
The rod and laser detector are sold separately.

Some detectors are compatible with multiple brackets. Where multiple options are shown, the detector-specific bracket generally provides the most purpose-built fit, while the UB-1 Universal Detector Bracket provides broader compatibility.
Detector housings and mounting designs can change from one product generation to another. Match the complete model name, including distinctions such as “older,” “newer,” or “slide back,” whenever shown.

B1-LA Detector Bracket

The broadest compatibility option for most receiver brands and models. Select the UB-1 when your detector is shown in its column or when using another detector not specifically assigned to a dedicated bracket.
Direct-Reading Lenker Rod Workflow
A direct-reading Lenker rod uses a movable tape face that can be set to the project benchmark or known elevation. Once set, the operator can read elevation, cut, or fill directly at the detector position without having to repeatedly perform calculations.
The LaserLine bracket holds the detector on the rod’s rail while allowing it to slide to the required elevation. This creates a fast field workflow for:
- Checking cut and fill
- Establishing grade
- Excavation depth checks
- Concrete and foundation work
- Site preparation
- Drainage and utility installation
- Grading and earthwork
- General construction elevation control
