Compatible Software

The Spectra Geospatial MobileMapper 6 works seamlessly with Spectra Geospatial Origin and Origin Lite, giving survey crews a modern Android-based workflow for field data collection and positioning tasks. It also supports Google Play applications, allowing teams to use additional Android field tools when needed.

With Spectra Geospatial Origin, crews can connect the MobileMapper 6 with supported Spectra hardware such as the SP100, SP85, SP60, and FOCUS 50. This provides a flexible field platform for GNSS surveying, robotic total station work, data collection, and connected survey workflows.

Rugged Android Performance

The MobileMapper 6 combines modern Android usability with field-ready durability. Its 6.3-inch Gorilla Glass display supports glove, wet-finger, and stylus input, making it easier to operate in different jobsite conditions. The device is also rated IP67 and tested to MIL-STD-810H standards for drops, vibration, humidity, temperature shock, and harsh environmental exposure.

At just 287 g with the standard battery and bumpers, it is easy to carry throughout the day without adding unnecessary weight to the rover pole or field kit.

Hot-Swappable Battery for Long Field Days

The MobileMapper 6 includes a hot-swappable Li-Ion battery designed to keep crews productive in the field. The backup battery keeps applications running for up to 1 minute during battery changes, helping prevent workflow interruptions during pack swaps.

The standard battery provides up to 9 hours of normal use with the screen at 100 percent brightness, and charging time is approximately 4 hours via USB PD.
